About Do Kyung Banck
Born and raised in Bucheon, South Korea, Do Kyung Banck brings a rich, global perspective to her role at Banck Law. Her life journey spans continents, cultures, and languages, reflecting a diverse upbringing that has shaped her unique approach to work and life.
Do Kyung moved to Indonesia during her teenage years, where she embraced a new culture and learned Indonesian while attending a private Christian school. Her international education continued at Surabaya International School, where she honed her English skills, even spending a summer studying in Sydney, Australia. Later, her father’s business expansion took her to Tianjin, China, where she added Chinese to her multilingual repertoire. By her early 20s, Do Kyung spoke Korean, English, Indonesian, and Chinese, giving her the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Her passion for exploration extends beyond languages. A seasoned traveler, Do Kyung has visited vibrant destinations such as Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, China, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Mexico, and the U.S., immersing herself in diverse cultures along the way. Her love for travel is complemented by hobbies like golf—taught by a PGA professional in Indonesia—yoga, and Pilates, which reflect her commitment to balance and personal growth.
